A Second Chance at Sight: How NB Sika Foundation Helped Ernest Find Hope Again
Ernest Birmeh walked into Korle Bu Teaching Hospital carrying more questions than answers. His vision was fading, the pain was growing, and the cost of treatment felt far out of reach. He did not know what the future held or whether help would come in time.
But help came.
NB Sika Foundation stepped in to fully fund his eye surgery, covering a medical bill of more than 10,000 cedis. What felt impossible for Ernest became possible because a community chose compassion.
